Time Heist

Oh man, I really like thisepisode as well. Not as much as Listen but it was so good. This season has felt so different, it’s somewhat more sophisticated than other seasons, and I love it.

And oh boy how great were Psi and Saibra! Kinda wish they had a couple more episode with the Doctor and Clara, especially Psi!

Also I wonder if Clara trying not to do basic instinctive things is important. First breathing and now thinking. Hmmmmm…

And is “It’s the eyebrows!” Twelve’s catchphrase? Because if it is I approve.

Can’t wait for next week episode. It’s always fun to watch the Doctor in earth and pretty much running a havoc.

Fuck that was amazing!

So literally just finished watching Listen and boy was that great. I have to say, my favourite Doctor Who episode is The Empty Child/The Doctor Dances and I think it’s finally met its match for me. Listen was well written and well acted episode. This is the Moffat we know and love!

I don’t know how anyone can hate Clara after this episode. She’s brave, intelligent, and amazing caring person. She’s become the voice of reason this season and its amazing. Her little toy soldier scene with Rupert was so lovely and really made who Clara was really shine. And know we know how important she is in the development of the Doctor. I really hope Jenna isn’t leaving this season, it would be a shame.

Capaldi was so good also. His monologue in the beginning was so great. I love this grumpier no bullshit Doctor and its great change from silly Eleven. But his scene with Rupert and Clara was so great. I got chills every time he said not too look back.

This episode was such a huge surprise. There was a couple moments where I thought it felt like Midnight, or Blink, or even Father’s Day but it quickly moved away from that and became its own story. I honestly thought it was going to be a monster of the week type of episode but I’m so glad that it was so much more than that. This episode had scared shitless but also made me laugh so much and I hope we get more episodes like this. Well done Doctor Who!

So went to Fan Expo yesterday and had a blast. Here’s a bunch of my Doctor Who related pictures. I also went to the Matt Smith and Arthur Darvill panel which was super awesome. They’re so funny and adorable. It’s just too bad Karen had to cancel. I’m not huge Amy Pond fan but I find Karen Gillan so funny in real life. Hope you guys enjoy these pics, because I sure did.

I really enjoyed Into the Dalek!

So this is me writing just after watching Into the Dalek and boy was that great. The beginning really felt like Dalek but thank god it quickly moved away from that. A good dalek? Genius!

I really like Twelve. He’s a little mean like One. Like, when he said that he knew the Guy soldier was going to die and he was just trying to save the rest of them I thought that was really dark. Honestly, something I could see One saying. But there’s an uncertainty that really makes him unique. He’s so unsure of who he is.

Then Missy! Is she collecting people that has sacrificed themselves for or because of the Doctor? If so why? She’s so creepy.

And then there’s Danny Pink. I really like him! I so badly want to know what’s his history. Plus, his chemistry with Clara is super cute!

I’ve really enjoyed the first two episode so far. After last season I was starting to worry but, in Moffat we trust, right?

Rewatched Deep Breadth at the theatres today…

and I swear it gets better and better each time. There’s something magical about watching Doctor Who episodes on the big screen with fellow Whovians. Laughing together, crying together, and all falling in love with Twelfth Doctor.

30 Days of Doctor Who

Day twenty: Think of the last movie you saw. Would the protagonist be a good companion? Or maybe they’d be the villain?

  • I am so ashamed that the last movie I watched was Johnny English Reborn. But anyways, would Johnny English make a good companion. No… no… no! Nor would he make a good villain. But not gonna lie, it would be entertaining to watch.

30 Days of Doctor Who

Day eighteen: The TARDIS has a near infinite number of rooms including a swimming pool, a library, and a swimming pool inside the library. Which room would you like to spend time in?
The Kitchen. Can you imagine the huge selection of food the Doctor must have.

30 Days of Doctor Who

Day seventeen: Name a crossover that you’d love to see.

  • Doctor Who + Firefly = Doctor Fly? Fire Who?

What ever it’ll be called I want to see it. Or at least see Kaylee travel with the Doctor!

30 Days of Doctor Who

Day sixteen: Which episode or scene made you feel all the feels?

  • Doomsday: It’s such an emotional roller coaster.
